For T99W175, Qualcomm realized mcfg switching mechanism
in FW side. It can work indepently without MM's help.
Therefore, delete mcfg switching mechanism in MM.
The template files in the `build-aux` directory used in enums sources
and headers generation use the `{$name}-template.[ch]` pattern.
However, the examples in the official guide[0] and usually GNOME and
Freedesktop packages use the `{$name}.[ch].template` pattern.
Due to this, the name of the template files and build commands have
been changed.

It's been observed that running CPOL? would completely break the AT
port of the modules like the GIO225.
Fully disable this feature in the whole option and option-hso plugins,
by creating a new custom SIM object with the features disabled
completely, and setup as a new shared interface object.
Fixes https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mobile-broadband/ModemManager/-/issues/404
This plugin implements support for old Qualcomm SoCs like the MSM8916
or the MSM8974, where:
* control ports are available via RPMSG channels exported as devices
e.g. with rpmsgexport:
https://github.com/andersson/rpmsgexport
* network ports are exposed by the bam-dmux kernel driver:
https://github.com/msm8916-mainline/linux/commits/bam-dmux
Adding support for newer Qualcomm SoCs (e.g. QRTR+IPA) could be done
in a similar way on this very same plugin.
This plugin is the first and only one that implements support for a
modem device that is "built in" the system, as opposed to external
modems that may be available via USB or PCI.
The ID_MM_PHYSDEV_UID based udev tags provided by the plugin provide
the logic to bind all the SoC ports together in the same modem object,
and therefore ID_MM_PHYSDEV_UID should not be used by users to
override the ones set by the plugin.
All "rpmsg[0-9]*" ports that are considered part of the modem are
flagged as candidate, ignoring the parent "rpmsg_ctrl[0-9]*" ports on
purpose. This setup therefore assumes that the channels have been
exported already as devices (e.g. using rpmsgexport).
libqmi 1.27.2 is required to support the "WDS Bind Data Port" message.
Some quectel devices, like the EC25 have a non-standard additional '3'
mode value:
0: Disable automatic time zone update via NITZ
1: Enable automatic time zone update via NITZ
3: Enable automatic time zone update via NITZ and update LOCAL time to RTC
The autoconf macros AX_COMPILER_FLAGS_{CFLAGS|GIR|LDFLAGS} test
for compiler and linker support of various flags, and add the flags to
the generated output.
If the command-line option '--enable-compile-warnings' is specified to
'configure', a number of additional warning options is also added to the
output. This is the default.
This update requires the presence of the GNU autoconf-archive in the
system.
And added support for several new things, including:
* Setting "any" band now attempts to set all supported bands.
* Added new 2G band value '5' (egsm+dcs+pcs+g850).
* Setup support for two different 3G band combinations, a default one
plus an alternate one applicable to the LM940/960 models only. The
alternate combination is selected via udev tags.
During the refactor, the following Telit-specific helpers were also
removed and exchanged with more generic counterparts.
* mm_telit_bands_contains() -> mm_common_bands_garray_lookup()
* mm_telit_get_band_flags_from_string() -> mm_parse_uint_list()
Devices like the Netgear AC313U require explicit context monitoring,
otherwise the device may end up disconnected internally and MM would
still think that the connection is ongoing.
The DW5821E module is managed in MBIM mode by default, and exposes a
NMEA capable tty in USB interface #4.
Enabling/disabling the NMEA output via the TTY is done with AT
commands, so this implementation requires also a valid AT port in the
system.
Given that the AT commands used to enable/disable this feature are
based on modifying non-volatile memory through AT^NV, this
implementation is very specific to the DW5821E. If we're able to do
the same on other Dell modules in the future, we'll just rename the
new object to a more generic one.
