Mike Yuan 38b59a83d2 libmount-util: build .c only if libmount feature is enabled
Follow-up for 7336f2c748

This alignes with some other optional modules in shraed/,
and it allows dlopen_libmount() to be optimized out entirely.
Let's avoid emitting pointless symbols.

Daan De Meyer 5df44d0f6a core: Make libmount optional
Instead of skipping libcore entirely when libmount is not available,
let's only compile out the pieces that need libmount. This makes the
meson logic much less complex and allows systemd-analyze to be built
when libmount is not available.

Daan De Meyer 7336f2c748 meson: Still build libshared even if libmount is disabled
Currently, if the libmount feature is disabled, we don't build
libshared and as a result skip building every other executable as
well. Among other things, this makes our nodeps CI builds kind of
pointless since hardly any code will be compiled.

Let's improve on the situation by making libmount properly optional
in libshared. Then, we only skip building the executables that
actually need libmount.

Daan De Meyer 2988bba60f mount-util: Iterate mountinfo backwards when unmounting
Submounts will always be located further in the mountinfo file, so
when we're unmounting, iterating backwards is likely to be more
efficient than iterating forwards. It'll also reduce the amount of
EBUSY debug logging we'll get since we'll stop trying to unmount
parent mounts with submounts which will always fail with EBUSY.

Daan De Meyer f102bc3e5f tree-wide: Introduce sd-forward.h and shared-forward.h headers
Let's not leak details from src/shared and src/libsystemd into
src/basic, even though you can't actually do anything useful with
just forward declarations from src/shared.

The sd-forward.h header is put in src/libsystemd/sd-common as we
don't have a directory for shared internal headers for libsystemd
yet.

Let's also rename forward.h to basic-forward.h to keep things
self-explanatory.

Daan De Meyer b14f74f9ab basic: Move trivial cleanup/ref/unref macros from macro.h to memory-util.h
Let's keep macro.h for the extremely generic macros that don't fit anywhere
else. Since CLEANUP_ARRAY() is already in memory-util-fundamental.h, we can
make a good case for moving the other cleanup macros in there as well.

Yu Watanabe 93f6cee97e libmount-util: introduce two helper functions
This introduces libmount_parse_mountinfo() and libmount_parse_with_utab().
The former one parses only mountinfo, but the latter one also parse
utab. Hopefully this avoids pitfalls like issue #35949.

Valentin David 6dc68a00cf shutdown: Move busy mounts to not block parent mounts
There is a case that confuses systemd-shutdown: a filesystem has been moved to
a mount point which is part of another filesystem from an image from that
former filesystem. systemd-shutdown cannot unmount any of those two
filesystems. It needs first to move the filesystem containing the image of the
other out of the tree of that image.

Here we move leaf mount points when they are busy so that they do not block
parent mounts. We can only move leafs at each iteration since moving mount
points also move sub mount points which would invalidate we read from
`/proc/self/mountinfo`.

Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek 08221c5743 shared: make libmount_parse() non-inline
Back in e2857b3d87 I added this function
as static inline in order to avoid linking libmount into libshared.
Nevertheless, a dependency on libmount was added to libbasic in
9e7f941acb, and later moved to libshared
in 77c772f227. So the shenanigan with an
inline function is not useful, let's make it a normal function.

Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek fd421c4adc tree-wide: reset the cleaned-up variable in cleanup functions
If the cleanup function returns the appropriate type, use that to reset the
variable. For other functions (usually the foreign ones which return void), add
an explicit value to reset to.

This causes a bit of code churn, but I think it might be worth it. In a
following patch static destructors will be called from a fuzzer, and this
change allows them to be called multiple times. But I think such a change might
help with detecting unitialized code reuse too. We hit various bugs like this,
and things are more obvious when a pointer has been set to NULL.

I was worried whether this change increases text size, but it doesn't seem to:

I would expect that the compiler would be able to elide the setting of a
variable if the variable is never used again. And this seems to be the case:
in optimized builds there is no change in size whatsoever. And the change in
size in unoptimized build is negligible.

Something strange is happening with size of libsystemd: it's bigger in
optimized builds. Something to figure out, but unrelated to this patch.

Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek e2857b3d87 Add helper function for mnt_table_parse_{stream,mtab}
This wraps a few common steps. It is defined as inline function instead of in a
.c file to avoid having a .c file. With a .c file, we would have three choices:
- either link it into libshared, but then then libshared would have to be
  linked to libmount.
- or compile the .c file into each target separately. This has the disdvantage
that configuration of every target has to be updated and stuff will be compiled
multiple times anyway, which is not too different from keeping this in the
  header file.
- or create a new convenience library just for this. This also has the disadvantage
that the every target would have to be updated, and a separate library for a
  10 line function seems overkill.

By keeping everything in a header file, we compile this a few times, but
otherwise it's the least painful option. The compiler can optimize most of the
function away, because it knows if 'source' is set or not.

Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek fb36b1339b shared: add a single definition of libmount cleanup functions
Use a trivial header file to share mnt_free_tablep and mnt_free_iterp.
It would be nicer put this in mount-util.h, but libmount.h is not in the
default include path, and the build system would have to be adjusted to pass
pkg-config include path in various places, and it's just not worth the trouble.
A separate header file works nicely.
